Sorry for the lack of updates! If anyone even cared...

Reason for my absence : I just moved to my new house 2 weeks ago, and that's how long it took us to fully unpack everything and get everything tidied up. In the midst of all that, my mum also renovated the kitchen cabinets and my walk-in wardrobe. ^^

Believe it or not, the renovation was done in ONE day. Amazing renovators my mum found. They did a good job!

Further from that, my internet was only fixed up on wednesday, which I didn't even have the time to enjoy my high speed broadband because of the renovation and errands to run.

And look!

These are Mulberries. I've got two Mulberry trees in my backyard. So cool, for the past two weekends, me and my 4th sister have plucked a handful of ripen mulberries to eat. When it's dark purple in color, it's sweet. :)

Wanna know how shallow my knowledge is? I didn't know that Mulberry was a real fruit, apart from it being a brand. Hehe.

NYE '11

OLA!

Figured I should blog about my NYE celebration before I head out to meet my dear college girlfriends. :) I have time to kill, so why not.

I wanted to celebrate NYE with MY friends but no, Adrian insisted that I joined him and his friends this year (or should I say last year) because he joined me for 2 years in a row. ISH SO CALCULATIVE.

He managed to book a place in Somerset Seri Bukit Ceylon. LOL I thought Somerset on Jalan Ampang was the same, so I checked into that one. :p In my defence, I didn't know this place even existed. What more TWO of it. Hahaha!

The best part about this place, Changkat is just down the road. SCORE!

Fact : I've never been to Changkat, till NYE! So I can say I was a Changkat Virgin. :D

So NYE began with me going to SS2 to COD. I bought a top to wear on that night itself. TEEHEE :D No lah, when I saw it, I wanted it already because I like cropped/off-shoulder tops now and I thought WHY NOT! New Year New Top!

Headed down to KL at around 2pm-3pm. Missed a turning and another turning, and that means we went THREE FREAKING ROUNDS. -___- By then, the road outside Sg Wang's main entrance was closed. But fret not, we still found our way.

Not only was Changkat within walking distance. So was Pavilion! Seriously, damn strategic in my opinion.

I went to bed at... 1am+. Wtf right? Now that I think about it, i'm such a loser. Missed the fun in the living room. >:( But I didn't want to puke, so I had to go to sleep. :D

Overall, NYE was GREAT. Saw 2 straight guys making out. How do I know they're straight? It's obvious and the not-drunk one said "Just do whatever he wants". SO YES, THEY ARE NOT GAY YET THEY MADE OUT. I SAW THEIR TONGUE GO LIKE ~~

Another highlight, I managed to see Kimbo and all at Changkat! :) :)

Partied at Reggae Bar. Don't like their music. We were 'this' close to not getting in and RM750 gone into the bouncers pockets for NOTHING. But anything is possible. ;)

So, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! May everyone have a blessed year with many happy moments to remember. I hope I do.

Uncle Jang

Last Thursday, Kim, Jia Wen, Eu Zan and I went for dinner at Uncle Jang in Solaris Mont' Kiara.

Heard a lot about this restaurant. It's Korean food, and it's not the usual Korean BBQ or Bibimbap. :p

It's VERY tasty, but too spicy for me.

You can choose between Hot & Spicy or Normal. The waiter suggested we mix both because the hot&spicy is VERY VERY spicy. So we got 2 hot&spicy 1normal - mixed both together.

Fuck, we drank more water than we ate.

Only Kimbo had a good time eating it because she's cool with super spicy food.

Next time we go, we have to order 1hot&spicy and 2normal instead.

But apart from it being SUPER DUPER spicy, it's SUPER DUPER tasty as well. NO DOUBT! :)

They didn't give us the 'aprons'. I asked for it only after the waiter was done cooking our food. -__- But at least we still got to wear it. :p

I wanted to have something COLD to cool down my stomach from the spicy food, so we went for ice cream at Haagen Dazs. I never knew the name was so weird until I typed it out. :O

CARAMEL BISCUIT & CREAM IS THE SHIZ. It tastes like the famous Holland caramel wafer biscuits (Daelmans Stroopwafel). Which is also something you should try if you love caramel! I found them in Village Grocer selling for RM29.90 for a small pack which only costs £1.50 in UK if I remember correctly.

Why must Haagen Dazs ice-cream be so expensive? :(

One scoop = RM12 (After tax)

FML. I could have two meals for RM12.

But anyways...

Before the New Year comes, I figured I should blog about my Christmas first. :D

On Christmas Eve night, I had a wedding dinner to attend with my family. My godbrother got married! I've got two godbrothers and both are married now.

It was held in One World Hotel. I've heard that it's expensive to have a wedding in OWH and the food is good. Well, it is. It's somewhat different from other hotels.

We occupied one whole table. So, I get to have a drumstick to myself without caring about other people. :p Hahaha! Btw, that's not barley, which I thought it was. It's Loh Mai. TASTY!!

People always say we look SUPER alike, but I personally don't think so. Some even asked "Are you two twins?". Twins is not in my genes sadly.

Sistersssss.

They claim that I'm the tallest because I got the most/best nutrition.

And introducing my family...

I wish I had a brother. I've always wondered how he'd look like. :D

This is my godbrother. He looks so young in this picture, like a teenager. He's not.

Moving on, headed to Jun Cheng's place in Sierramas at 11plus. Celebrated Christmas Eve there. Didn't do much there though. I guess it's because someone was missing. SAVEEN.

Kim and I bought those reindeer hairpins in 1MK. So cute right? And then I found the Christmas hat hairpin in OU. Too cute too cute. :)

My gossip girlss.

They always refuse to let me take a picture of them like that, but once I mention "Oh let's take a gossip girl shot". They'll end up laughing and hence, the picture. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I initially had the Christmas hairpin on as well, but Sarkaaj and Kok kept throwing the hat on my head. So why not? :p

Kok was being spontaneous that night unlike his usual self! He was ready for a picture anytime that night. HAHA.

So that was my Christmas Eve celebration. Nothing big, nothing great. But spending it with my friends was the best part. :) Love them to bits! Now I know why my sisters say that your high school friends will be your friends forever.

True story, one of my dad's good friend until today is from his high school back in Confucian. I find that amazing.

Seasons Greetings!

So how was your Christmas celebration?

Mine was so-so. More on that in another post. :D

I've got the urge to dye my hair again. It doesn't look as brown as it looks, in person. Still contemplating!

Bought this tee and strap online. This is how crazy I am for owl-things. I even bought a strap. Which I have no use for it. >.< I'll probably just hang it on my bag. Or actually a thought just came to my mind! Hang it on my rear-view mirror in my car! :D Settled.

I expected the tee to be big, but it's just nice. :)

Uni has been super empty and quiet, which makes me not want to go to uni at all. While most of the students get a year end holiday, we UWE students don't. But fret not, we've got almost a month of holidays next month! Woohooooo~

Alright, i've gots to go eat some snacks. I'm so hungry... :D

Last Saturday, we had dinner at Sushi Zanmai. It's almost every single time we're eating together and it'll be in Sushi Zanmai. It's too good.

It was our picture day :p

I wonder if it's the angle or the camera or what, but I look wider! I'm so happy!! I wanna gain weight so badly >.<

Once we were done shopping in some 100yen Japanese shop that's like Daiso, we decided to head to Publika to check the place out. I've only been there once to eat Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee! :D Now there's a little more shops open. Can't wait for it to be fully occupied!

But unfortunately we headed there at around 9.30pm, most of the shops were closed. Even Chatime, which was the main reason why we went there.

Robots using recycled materials. I touched the boobies when I wasn't supposed to. :D Well, thank god I didn't get electrocuted! I didn't see the sign, at all. :p

And another recycled robot. The chest is a monitor!

Explored, and since the shops were closed, we decided to go to KD for desserts. Tong Bak Fu was closed as well. :( I was really in the mood for desserts. But they didn't want Snowflake. >:(

Now I can't wait for the weekend!! And I can't wait to see my baby Tan Jia Wen! She failed in surprising us that she's coming back. I just knew it in my heart that she's coming back. :*

After tracking my parcel for 4 days, which in that 4 days, delivery was not even attempted once. ABX Express isn't a good courier company. >:( Express my ass.

So since the office is on the way home from uni, I decided to drop by today to collect it myself.

I'm so happy with my purchase! I love this top. It's a knitted crop top and i'm into knitted tops now. This is my 2nd one so far. :D

Saving all the new clothes I'm getting now for CNY. I'm still a little girl at heart. Teehee! I like having loads of new clothes to wear during CNY. I've got the shoes and clothes. Next is bag. :D

Okay lah, it's not necessary. I'm not that spoilt to want everything new. :)

Went to Starbucks in uni today with Andrea and Win Jen after class to get a cup of free brewed coffee :D And I got myself a Starbucks Card while I was there.

Pay RM20 and it's yours. You don't even have to fill in a form! So environmental friendly right? You only need to register your card online. PAPER FREE. Gotta love Starbucks for that.

Two-Way Kit

Went shopping with my mum and sister this evening. I wanted to get a compact powder to apply over my concealer because my concealer will last longer then.

This is the 2nd make up product i'm using. :p If concealer is considered as make up. Or should I just call it cosmetics? Make up sounds so not me.

Choosing between brands, I wanted to get the Chanel compact powder since i've been using my sister's one. But Robinson's Chanel promoter was so clueless, we waited and waited for her to find out the prices and in the end we moved on.

Mum and sister got lipsticks from Shu Uemura and I got a free two-way kit tester! It's so cute and tiny and precious. Anything tiny/mini tend to be precious right? :)

PS: It's smaller than a card, if you're wondering.

I rely on concealer every single day now. Dark circles have been so bad.

I used to only apply it when I felt like it. One thing I can't quite figure out, why is it that my concealer takes so long to finish. I think it's already a year plus since I got the current one I'm using. I wanna try a new brand so badly.

I was a little excited when I found out Shogun replaced Tenji in Solaris Mont' Kiara. Well, only because Shogun is by the same company as Saisaki. And Tenji sucked balls.

Dinner on weekends is RM62.90 per pax. It's not worth it.

Sushi selection was so limited, i'd rather spend RM62.90 in Sushi Zanmai and get even better quality maki's. I found one thing weird, their fish roe weren't orange. It's closer to red, and I thought they were chilli flakes or something. They had yellow colour fish roe too! Oh, and their california hand roll was SHIT. Wtf, like no standard. I can make better handrolls than them.

I asked for a handroll, the dude just looked at me. =.= Aren't you gonna ask me what handroll I want?! How am I supposed to know what handrolls you can make? So I just asked for a California Handroll. He looked so clueless and sick of his job. And you know what? He didn't say a single word to me. Maybe just a "mm".

Bad service #1.

Maybe I haven't been to a buffet in AGES. I didn't know I had to get my own green tea. So a waitress came to take our dirty plates and I asked her "Can I have a cold green tea?". She just looked at me and put the dirty plate back down and started talking to her colleague. WHAT THE. The truth is, she doesn't understand english and she was speaking some foreign language. I think they hire cheap labour. Erm, I pay RM62.90 so I expect better service. I think I get better service in coffee shops.

Bad service #2.

Their teppanyaki section : Beef or Flower Squid. WHAT THE FUCK seriously. No chicken! No fish! You can choose what you want and put them on your plate, then pass it to the chef to cook them for you.

Plates : Not available at every 'station'. I was gonna grab some tempura's, only to notice that there are no plates around. I had to walk to the end of the row, grab a plate, walk back to the tempura section. -_____-

For a Japanese buffet restaurant, I think they had more chinese food. Got Dim Sum too. LOL. And 'Buddha Jump Over The Wall'. I laughed when I saw it. It's such an expensive soup. I just found it funny that they served it in a buffet. How good can it be? Didn't try it though, I was too unhappy dining there already.

The only thing Adrian was happily eating were some jelly thingy. Took an entire plate full and got sick of them after two. With the price we paid, he said we could have went to Ole-Ole Bali and have a super satisfying meal for like RM90. TRUE.

Therefore, I will not go to cheap Japanese buffets anymore. I might as well have spent a bit more and went to Jogoya or Mandarin Oriental's buffet.

PS: It's only RM37.90 on weekdays for lunch. (If I remember the price correctly) If you really wanna try, go for lunch instead.

VERDICT : Shogun, you get a 3/10.

It's not the 8th yet, but I managed to get my assignment done this morning and I just finished reviewing it. All I have to do now is print it out!

Apart from uni, my friends from Australia are back! We're reunited once again. :') I haven't been hanging out with my buddies for weeks, it's really saddening. I'm just glad Kimmy and I are in the same uni now and we get to see each other every now and then. That way we can gossip even more! Teehee.

I feel like i've just finished my exams, but no, it's just 1 out of the 6 assignments I have to do. Mehhh -_-

Here's my secret.

I made him get me another charm. My necklace is the long one, so with just one charm, it looks ridiculous!! Okay, that's just my perception. To get more charms... :p

I bought the lightning bolt myself! :D So, yes, it does not look ridiculous anymore.

Still thinking what i'm gonna use this notebook for.

Notbook Notbuk is where I got it from. Visited their stall in Chic Pop 10 earlier today (sucker for free postage/COD). :p

Well hey, it's a way to save money. :)

I have to camwhore to get a new picture of myself nowadays. Taking pictures when i'm out, doesn't really happen anymore. :( Hence, the lack of my DSLR usage.

Uni is resuming this coming Monday. My friends ask if i'm looking forward to it, I say yes. By having classes to attend, new things to learn, tutorials to do, I have more motivation to actually do them. By having this week of break, I don't have any will to do anything, really.

How am I gonna survive this?? At the very least, in HELP it was only 3 subjects a semester. Definitely easier to cope than having 6 subjects all at once. Oh well, this is a choice I made and I'll just have to deal with it and find my ways. When there's a will, there's a way!

Melaka

Continuing with our road trip last month -- Melaka!

Staying in PD entirely was rather boring, and since Melaka was nearby, we made a day trip to Jonker Street. Sadly, we took the inside road from PD to Melaka, it took us about an hour to and fro. One lane = JAM.

It was jam in Jonker Street itself, again time wasted just to get to the parking lots.

And we finally walked the streets of Jonker Street!

Lining up to eat the famous Chicken Rice Balls. It was so worth the wait. And as you can tell from their expressions, it was super sunny and hot.

I walked to the shop opposite and discovered that super tasty drink. Damn refreshing some more on that hot day. *win!*

The cendol was okay-okay for me. Maybe we just went to the wrong shop to eat it.

And then we rested at this place called Jonker Walk World Heritage Park.

On the way back to the car, we bought these. SUPER TASTY! I've seen them in pictures before and i've always wanted to try them.

Just because I said out loud to Adrian that I wanted Black Pepper, the person selling thought I was telling him. Then the Mat Sallehs who were waiting way before us, got pissed and even more pissed when the dude gave it to me first. >.< And they just walked off.

I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to! :/

So that sums up our road trip. It was super fun. But I did miss out on the 2nd night's happenings. I don't know what was my problem, I was bored so I went back to the room to sleep. I seriously regret it so much! :(

So I haven't been updating. Slowly losing the interest actually.

3 weeks of uni just passed and I've got a 1 week break now for Deepavali. My next break is after my mid-terms in January. :/

Uni has been alright. It's getting better. :) Year 2 = Harder subjects. I need to stop being so lazy to study from the beginning. That's the only way to succeed, I believe! :p Did I ever mention? I transferred from HELP to Taylor's! I'm finally out of that shithole. I hated it there so much.

Something I found out -- People tend to ask "Where do you stay? Do you drive to uni? Are you from KL?". Hahaha, I've answered these questions god knows how many times already in the past 3 weeks. But people in Taylor's are different, somehow.

Now that I'm not working and I have all the time in the world to blog, I don't have the mojo. But since I've got nothing much to blog about, I should do some advertorials. In another post.

So after I came back from Singapore, I went to PD the next day with the usual high school friends. The much awaited and planned road trip finally happened! We did go to Genting last year, but that just doesn't count. We were supposed to go to Penang but there were complications so we changed to a nearer destination. I'd love some good Penang Asam Laksa and Char Kuey Teow right now!!

And also some Penang Rojak.

Ahh, there's just too many delicacies in Penang that I love!

So, back to the topic, we left for PD at around 12pm I think? I can't remember already. FYI, this trip was on the 2nd of September till the 4th.

We went in 2 cars. There were 9 of us. Adrian drove me, Kim and Kei. The rest of the guys, in Saveen's car. We went earlier to check-in. The rooms were pretty good. We got the cheapest rooms. 2 Standard twins. Good enough to fit all of us. And I was just happy that the toilet was nice. I need nice toilets..

Stole my sister's nice hat. :D

You know what's funny? We go to the beach resort, but we didn't swim. I didn't even bring my swim wear!

And coincidentally, Adrian's cousin went to the same hotel with his girlfriend too!

Room service food were pretty good too.

It was after that week, having Tom Yam soup for dinner in Singapore and also in PD, that I got so addicted to Tom Yam. I have a newly discovered love for Ruski Tom Yam maggi mee and I have this want to eat it every single day.

I just realized I haven't mentioned which hotel we stayed in!

The Lion City

So once again, I went down to Singapore with my family on the 30th Aug till 1st Sept. We went mainly to help my 3rd sister bring some stuff for her new home in Singapore and also because it'd be bored here in KL during Hari Raya.

My sister moved to Singapore to work with her boyfriend. I'm missing her so much. No one to fool around with me at home. :(

Reached the hotel and we walked so much already. There were so many people getting on the train back to Sentosa so we decided to walk from Vivo City back to the hotel. Fuhh, damn tiring. And so we just stayed in the room till dinner time. I watched TV and my sister napped because she partied till 5am the night before. *hardcore*

Met up with the 3rd sister in Bugis to go for lunch.

Missmissmiss.

Bought quite a number of super cheap clothings in Bugis Street. I'm happy with my loot from Singapore this time. :D

Then we moved on to Orchard.

Heehee. Ever since I started playing Smurfs' Village on iPhone, I started liking The Smurfs. :D I can't wait to watch the movie this Wednesday!

Left the hotel early on Thursday to go to my sister's place in Kembangan to pass her her junk. I really like where she's staying. It's like a MINI condo. :b

She stays in the penthouse, but the top floor. So the swimming pool is just right outside her unit. Although it's super sunny during the day, it's damn windy also. So it's not really hot. She doesn't even need to turn on the fan when she's home! It's that windy.

This trip to Singapore I got to eat more local food rather than the usual MOS burgers and Xiu Long Bao. Hehe. It was a good trip. :)

Roller-Blades

I don't think many people know about Subang Avenue. There aren't even that many tenants in that mall. It's still the same as last year when I participated in a bazaar there. So dead, I don't even know how the mall can survive until today.

Only the chinese restaurant is doing well. And probably The Wheels as well.

I wouldn't have known about this if Soorah didn't plan this outting.

At first, I thought there won't be anyone skating inside. I was wrong. There were people in there. In fact, juniors from SMKSH were there as well! What a coincidence. Around 4pm, there were more people coming in. Not bad, I thought.

It's been sooo long since I last wore a pair of roller blades.

Kim was the only one who knew how to tighten them straps and buckle them.

Coincidentally, I wore an orange top that day. :D

And roller blades are actually called Inline Skates.

And these are Roller Skates.

I wanted to try these instead but thank god I didn't because those who chose these kept falling down.

It's RM20 for 3 hours. And RM25 for a whole day. We thought 'Hey why don't we just take whole day since it's only RM5 more.'. Because we thought 3 hours wouldn't be enough. WE WERE WRONG. It's so tiring. Or maybe we just don't have stamina anymore. We started at about 3pm. Left before 6pm.

We all got a free membership card when we paid. So the next time we go, it's only RM15 for 3 hours.

Every since I started work, my saturdays are always occupied from day to night.

Last Saturday, there was the 9th ChicPop at Jaya One. ChicPop vendors are always good. So it's worth going to a ChicPop bazaar. ;) The first time I went, I bought a little Naraya pouch for my comb, hair ties and what no to put in my handbag.

Cute? There's an even cuter design which that blogshop didn't have. It's yellow with ladybugs on it.

I've been wanting to buy an envelope clutch for damn long. But always contemplated when I see it on blogshops because I don't want a low quality one! The ones I see on blogshops are either looking soft or a bit too pricey.

So as we were gonna leave the place already, I spotted envelope clutches! *beams* Even better, they came in 2 sizes! I bought the medium sized one since my sister has the large one already. It's just too bad there were only two colours. The other colour was coral.

And it costed me RM35. It's worth it for the quality. :D

I don't know if any of you could tell that my pictures are different. Well, I used a different camera. My sister borrowed a Lumix GF1 and it's sitting in her room. So I played with it. :D I like it. I want it. :/ How lah dei?

This week's new toy is a Hello Kitty Watch. -_-

There's actually four ponies to collect, but the outlet in Mont Kiara LIED to me!! On the thursday that the 3rd pony was supposed to be released, the cashier told me "Oh this week don't have new pony lah. Next week only.".

Grr.

So I was a good girl. I waited till the next Thursday to buy it, it was sold out. Could only get the 4th pony. :'(

I bought a new casing last Sunday from Fourskin. Clear and plastic. To show off the whiteness of my phone. Hahaha.

I'm quite paranoid when i'm holding my phone sometimes actually. It's so smooth that it could just slip out of my hands. This casing is fragileee.

There was a day at work that I was bored outta my head from doing the data entry work so I started searching for wallpapers. :D

This one is so cute! I change my wallpaper every 2-3 weeks. Need to look for more! But the internet at work is so slow sometimes, it's annoying. But I guess it's just annoying to me because I have fibre optic broadband at home. Hurhur.

Recently, Kei told me that brushing my hair isn't good for my hair. But I prefer using brushes. It also causes split ends, somehow.

So I googled it and it turns out that it is very bad to brush your hair when it's tangled.

"Using a hair brush is seen as a convenient way to detangle hair; however, brushing hair incorrectly can result in split ends and damaged hair."

Damn, I've been using a hair brush since.. FOREVER! But I only started getting split ends since I dyed my hair. So I guess the hair dye triggered it. :b

I'm gonna go hunt for a nice and pretty comb soon. Wide-toothed and a normal one to put in my bag. :)

Dinner at Italiannies on Saturday with Adrian Chen. I chose that place only because I wanted to eat their bread. :b We ordered the Classic Carbonara and it sucked. I like their Shrimp Linguine but I don't eat shrimp, so it's kinda a waste of money for me. :b

I recently hijacked my 3rd sister's boyfriend's old Canon Ixus. :D He got a Canon S90 so he has forgotten about this one. I just need a compact camera sometimes. I am just so demanding sometimes.

The pictures only turn out fine with flash + some edit-ing.

And I started taking pictures of us by putting the camera on a glass. :D It's quite embarrassing actually. But we need to take more pictures together!

And I got an express manicure on Friday afternoon. It's a darker than that actually.

Sometimes I don't understand myself. I got up on Friday morning, had that cramp-y feeling, walked around the house till 9.30am and I got my period. Knowing me, I'd get cramps. But I was hoping that this time I wouldn't have cramps so I went to work anyways. What a bad decision that was! I barely did any work (went online most of the time) and waited for my mum to pick me up at 1pm. And of all the days, my mum sent my car to fix on that day. -_-

Yeap, I banged a Kelisa two Fridays ago on my way out to dinner with the girls. Sigh. I was so so lucky that the Kelisa was BARELY damaged, only a little tiny dent and the lady said it's okay after I kept saying sorry. I can't imagine if it was a nice luxury car. :/

I'm glad that my car is fixed. I don't like driving a car that has an obvious dent. It just doesn't feel nice. Hahaha I'm retarded.

Ahh, I can't wait to finish working this Data Entry job. :(

I finally dragged myself to go get a hair cut. Ever since I dyed my hair, I've been getting split ends. :'( It's really saddening. So I chopped off about 2 inches of my hair in hopes of getting rid of ALL my split ends. :D Next thing to do, go for a hair treatment. I already bought a Groupon Voucher for it. Hehe.

This time I went to A-Saloon. They have 5 branches.

It's not bad, I quite like it. In fact, I think i'm gonna go there for my future hair cuts from now on. :)

Picture above taken just because I really love my top! Bought it online through a Supre spree. I'm so happy that my sizing judgement was correct. Fits me PERFECTLY. (Size XXS btw) I thought it'd be too tight for me. It's not stretchable, you see.

New Stuff : Casings

Weeks before I bought my iPhone, I was already googling for iPhone casings online to buy. Found decent ones on eBay and Lelong.com.my. eBay is pretty much very reliable as long as you choose those sellers that are Power Sellers, whereby their ratings are high and have got good reviews.

My experience with the seller on Lelong.com.my wasn't so good. Asked him a question, took him days to reply me. Confirmed on the total I have to pay, paid and informed him, he asked "Who are you? What did you order?". I was seriously so shocked he could ask that. What kind of seller is he when he has emails to refer back to?

Even though the casings were RM9 each only, I'm not gonna buy from him again. Nor am I gonna tell anyone to buy from him. I should go rate him as well later.

And he only replies me once a day, even though I replied his email's just a couple of minutes after I received them. So that's why it took a week for him to send the casings out to me.

These are the ones I bought from Lelong.com.my.

I bought them because the bottom part can be removed, and I can mix-match the colours. I initially ordered 3 colours but the pink was out of stock. Thank god.

This is how I wanted it to be, to look like a watermelon!

But omg, I slid my phone into the top part, took me an hour to get it out. It was so tight, you have no idea. I thought I have to break the casing apart!

I just love the colours, so sweet. :D Oh well, I won't be using them. It's hard enough to get it to fit perfectly, what more taking it out afterwards?

So I went back to using the green one (post below), and today I received the casing that I bought on eBay!

I actually ordered the orange because I wasn't sure if he had purple. Which he didn't answer me to that. >:( So, as I was opening my parcel, I was expecting an orange. But no, I got my favourite colour! I've decided not to get the RM89 purple casing from Robinsons already. :D

Oh this casing is tight too. Gotta use a lot of strength to get it to fit perfectly. But one thing I like about this one is that it's slim fitting. Doesn't make my phone feel bulky. :)

Free postage from HK and that's one thing I love about eBay. Better than buying in shopping malls right! Surely RM20-40 per casing.

Shall choose other colours to buy from this seller soon! :D

New Stuff : iPhone 4

If you follow me on Twitter (@wheyjinn), you would know that I just got a new phone which I have anticipated for ~~so long~~ 4 days. :b But considered for so long, because I've longed for an iPhone since last year.

So here's how it went:

I decided on a day/date to buy the phone, which was last Saturday. That was actually because I initially wanted to buy the phone from Maxis since they were having a promo for their iPhone 4 anniversary. Only RM100 cheaper than normal price. The promotion ends on the 30th June, hence the date being set on Saturday so my sister can go swipe her credit card for me. :b I insisted that she swiped her card so she can collect more CC points hahaha.

But a few days before that, I did some research on Celcom as well. It's about RM100 cheaper than Maxis overall for a year's contract. Plus, Adrian said Celcom's network is actually the largest so reception is way better than Maxis and Digi. (Plus Points 1)

Then I also found out that Celcom's internet speed is the fastest as well as compared to the other two telcos. (Plus Points 2) And this is important to me because I will go crazy with checking my twitter and emails. And the occasional Foursquare and Facebook.

(Plus Point 3) Maxis' cheapest plan ; RM100/mth comes with 1GB of data only and it islimited. Mind you, Maxis' data charges are super expensive. Celcom's cheapest plan ; RM98/mth comes with 2GB of data and it is unlimited. :D Yay for me!

(Plus Point 4) I went to the Celcom outlet in Bangsar, all ready to buy the phone already but unfortunately it was out of stock. So I was put on waiting list with 15 people before me. The guy said I'd have to wait for about 1-2 weeks for the stock to arrive. *devastated* Then I kept thinking if I should just get it from Maxis instead. But I called their Hotline on Sunday and the guy said no stock also and not sure when there will be. That was probably a sign. Celcom called me back in 4 days. Less than a week! I headed to Bangsar right after work. :D

(Plus Point 5) With whatever plan you choose, you have to pay a prepayment. I took the cheapest plan ; RM98 on a 12 months contract. So my device price was RM1438 and prepayment of RM300. The RM300 is deducted from my bill over 12 months, unlike Maxis. Maxis' prepayment is deducted over the first 5 months only if i'm not wrong. Well, this is a plus point for me because then I'd be paying RM73 only for the next 12 months. :b

Digi was totally out of the list because the device price is RM2090. Digi line sucks. And it's a compulsory 24 month contract. Celcom and Maxis has a choice of 12 or 24 months. (Plus Point 6)

My long awaited white iPhone 4.

I waited so long for Digi to finally have it, but in the end I didn't buy it from Digi. Hehe.

And since I have to keep my 012 number, I'm keeping my Samsung phone.

Yes, I have to carry two phones. Two pure white touch-screen phones. :b

I'm not a green person, but I needed a casing for the time being. And I have 3 iPhone 4 casings on my table because JW ordered them from Kim. So I decided to take the green one. It's a nice shade of green. :D I sticked the screen protector on myself too! Ordered from Kim as well, in advance before she left to Melbourne for a month. :b

Can't wait to go shopping in KL with the PPs this weekend! Gonna hunt for more casings. If I don't find a cheap and NICE purple one, I'm going back to Robinsons to get the RM89 one. That one is so perfect. It's a slim casing and it's almost the perfect shade of purple. There were like 20 of it on the rack, i'm pretty sure it'll still be there if I decide to buy it in the end. *cross fingers*

I don't know who reads my blog anymore, but I would appreciate some suggestions on where to buy nice slash cheap slash any iPhone casings other than eBay. :D Thanks in advance, if i do get any suggestions. Hehe.

I think this was two weeks ago. Yeah I haven't blogged in so long because I barely use my laptop anymore ever since I started work. And last week my laptop just couldn't detect or connect to my wifi. Well, thank god it's all good now! I suggested to go for dinner just me, Kimmy and Jia Wen in Ampang. :) For some cheap and good western food.

The drive there was LONG and the drive home was LONGER. Because we took a wrong turn or something. Thank god Kimmy has an iPhone, we got out of Ampang/Cheras with Google Maps. :D

But in the 3 games we played Kim won once and I won twice. Kimmy won on the FIRST round which means it was her first guess. Hahaha.

And sadly, they figured out how I cheat in the second round already. :( But I still managed to win muahahaha. :D

It was a damn good night out. I laughed so hard while holding a lollipop, it got stuck in my hair twice. *gross*

Received an order for Pumpkin Cake. While I was making it, realized that I was out of cinnamon powder. Hence, the yellowness of the muffin. It's usually brown. I hope the customer's dog likes it. :b

I love my new muffin paper cups. So cute! There's also green+yellow. Or was it blue. It's nice also lah! Got polka dots too. :D

So, work last week was boring. First two day, ie Wednesday and Thursday, we did nothing but surf the net the whole day. Data hasn't come in, so we couldn't do any work. They just came in to brief slash update us once in a while.

But on Friday, the work started. We got 1727 datas to clean, which is an okay amount of datas. Some days, the amount can go up to 10k. Can die if it does! The worst part, we must finish it on that day itself. We get paid for over time so, that's not so bad.

3 months of this, I hope I can last. *cross fingers*

Went to Atria with my 2nd sister because there was a warehouse sale for Corelle, Corning Ware and Pyrex. She's getting married, so she needs to buy these stuff for her new home. Hahaha.

There were a few warehouse sales going on in Atria. Big Bookshop closing down clearance as well! So the story books were cheaper as compared to the Times book sale in HSC.

Hard cover books. Usually priced at RM80-90 normal price. Bought them at RM39 and RM19 each. Steal!

It's only until today tho.

I always liked the hard solid stickers, but a bit too expensive to buy. I bought one packet for RM3.90 only. :D Ribbons & hearts. Too cute.

Part Time Job

From cute to evil.

Starting my part time job tomorrow! 5 months of freedom, doing nothing has come to an end. I'll soon have a month to laze around and do whatever I want before uni starts again! Can't wait!

Got a job at Tune Talk to do Data Entry. One thing good about working in an office, I only have to work on weekdays and during office hours. Unlike working in a boutique, I'll have to work at least 6 days a week and sometimes for 12 hours. Although i'll probably get more money, but I don't want to be so exhausted coming home with sore feet from standing all day. :D

Oh another good thing about this job, I can dress casual. Not shorts and mini skirts kinda casual. But I can wear jeans and whatever tee I have! Sweaters on cold days. Hehehe. If only I could wear a Tune Talk t-shirt instead. Easy peasy, won't have to go through my wardrobe every morning.

26 Months

May 27th, we've been together for 26 months! Who would have thought right? People didn't think we would last this long.

Well, one thing about me, I don't get into a relationship that doesn't last. I mean, what's the point of getting into a relationship when you don't like/love that person enough? Having so many ex-boyfriends doesn't make a girl look or sound great.

I'm so happy when people tell me I look like Adrian. It's a good thing!

Down South, again

Spontaneous Trip

This trip of mine isn't any special trips because I went to Singapore, yet again! My 2nd sister had to go down south for work, so I tagged along. Free accommodation. :D Went last Saturday.

Plus point : It's connected to Bugis Junction.

Stayed in Inter Continental hotel. 'Uber' lazy to edit my pictures.

It's a super comfy bed.

I reached the hotel at 5pm+. I took the Odyssey bus this time which takes off from Mont Kiara, that was the main point 'cause it's near! But it stops at Balestier Plaza which has no MRT stations. It took me quite long to hail a cab. A family, 2 girlfriends and me, waiting for cabs. 2 cabs came, thank god the driver didn't wanna fetch the 2 girlfriends. Scored a cab! Phew!

I mean, I didn't wanna waste so much time just getting to the hotel. I wanna go shop and eat my MOS Burger asap. Hahaha.

Met up with my sister's high school friend and went shopping in Bugis. We had the must haves 'Xiu Long Bao'. :D

Believe it or not, didn't buy anything.

Met up with my dad's cousin, who is also my aunt. She brought us to Al-Junied for a tibet-buddhist event held for Wesak Day, or in Singapore's spelling -- Vesak Day.

So cheap if you're earning Singapore dollars. :b

Monday, Orchard!

Hahaha, I bought that top in Singapore during CNY, and that was my first time wearing it. :b

I just had to lah kay.

Shopped for only 3 hours. I didn't even walk on the Orchard road. Took the MRT to Somerset and shopped at 313 Somerset. When I was done there, took the MRT to Orchard which led me to ION mall. Hahaha. That's how lazy I am. But that's also because I only wanted to shop at those two malls. :D

Went back to Bugis at 3pm, and bought these for lunch. That is Mango Tango from Rockery. It's so gooooooooood! $3.70 and the famous Chicken Teriyaki from MOS Burger. :D

It was a satisfying lunch. I also bought two sticks of yakitori's. It's damn tasty, I never knew. Ate it too fast, didn't snap a picture of them. :b

I stayed in the room until 7.30pm when my sister came back from work. She actually said "I'm home!". -__________-

Watched tv and fell asleep. <3

Didn't buy as many things as I expected to. Most of my money were spent on food.

New Stuff : Journal & Headbands

I've always wanted a diary/planner but hesitated because I know I'll waste a lot of pages, plus it's pretty expensive for one of those with the PU Leather cover.

The other day I was just doing my daily routine, going through blogshops and found one selling handmade journals that's dateless! And the covers are so pretty, way better than those in bookstores.

They have different covers, which is actually fabric. Bought it for RM35 which is pretty okay.

I hope she'll still have more when I finish using this. I have a few more notebooks, pretty ones, which is obviously the reason I bought them in the first place, I just can't bring myself to use them because I won't be able to find them anymore! But I have to grow out of this man.

If I don't use what I have and be done with them, how can I get new prettier ones?!

Resolution for the year. Okay.

A few weeks back, I walked into Popular. I saw a girl holding a cute floral notebook. I just had to find it and check it out. It was so cute and vintage. RM6.90 only so I bought it. Hehe. It's gonna be my recipe book! Already got two written in it. :D

You never know. Life may be short, or long. Who knows?

And then my next haul are headbands. I find myself wearing headbands a lot this year. When I'm too lazy to blow my fringe, I'll just put a headband on. This actually started because my forehead gets so sensitive, oil seeds just start growing on my forehead. :( I had to use a headband for about a month to let my forehead be clean&clear last year. It was bad.

And these are the headbands I've collected so far. :D My new ones are the blue polka-dot, pink and purple. Those 6 same material ones are from Diva. I love it. There are 3 more colours which I'm thinking to buy or not. They're more neutral colours. *excited*

Right now I'm just waiting for my fringe to grow longer. Like super long to see if my forehead gets better when I don't have fringe. Then I can wear my headbands everyday! :D I can colour coordinate. :b

My life is so sad and dull, hence the lack of updates. Nothing at all to update you guys with.

Okay as I am typing this, I just remembered there's something that I can blog about. :D

I saved a Soft Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe online since last year. And i've just recently tested the recipe. The recipe title said it's the best, and yes it's the best cookies I've ever baked! It tastes a lot like Subway cookies to me.

It tastes fantastic with milk!

And the picture shows how big first tray of cookies were. Didn't know they would expand that much.

I prefer soft cookies rather than hard crunchy cookies. Hard crunchy ones, only Famous Amos is acceptable. :D

New Haul : Shoes

So yesterday Kimmy, Sharida and I went down to Sg. Wang to shop for cheap stuff! But only Sharida ended up with cheap stuff. Hahaha. Kimmy and I both bought a pair of Everlast. We walked pass a sports shoe shop and it was just there in the window. I was like immediately attracted to it! Same goes for Kimmy. Hahaha.

And this is my cute pair of flats! I have an ALMOST similar pair from Topshop, but it hurts like a bitch after walking in them for 30 minutes. Really cannot buy shoes from a shop that doesn't specialise in shoes. The only cheap flats that I can wear without having blisters are from Rubi Shoes. Other than that, they all hurt me. :( I think it's partially because I have retarded feet.

Okay I just had to snap more because I love taking pictures with my 50mm lens! Looks cooool. :D

I find myself liking things that have blue and red in them. These two colours just go so well together. Makes things look more sporty or young. Well, in this case, these two colours make my shoe look more sporty! Hehe.

I hope I don't see another colour of this pair of flats in the Everlast store. The lady said it only came in this colour. Don't know if she meant in Malaysia or just her store. I think I want a pair of red canvas flats next. :D Praying hard this pair won't hurt me. My first pair of Everlast did hurt me. But that pair wasn't comfy to wear at all also. Sometimes I buy shoes that catches my eye and I think that I MUST have it. Therefore, if it looks good on me, I just buy it. I never thought whether it was comfy in the first place or not. Need. To. Stop.

A few weeks back, I worked at the British Council Education Fair with Jia Wen thanks to Fiona. The job was okay. All I had to do was click every time a visitor walked in.

I always wear a hair tie on my wrist, like a bracelet. When the clown at the Edu Fair saw it, he said "Aiya why wear that?? Come come I make you a nicer one!". And he made me this...

"Can tie hair also!"

LOL I obviously didn't. My hair would have stuck to the balloon! But it's cute.

And then, last Friday was Saveen's farewell in Chili's BSC. He's now in Manipal, India doing Medicine! All of us are either doing Accounting & Finance or Medicine. Nothing else.

I wish everyone knew how to take a proper decent picture... I knew I couldn't count on a random girl to take a nice picture of us. Hahaha oh well.

Yesterday, Adrian made a spontaneous trip to The Curve. I bought fries from Mcdonald's and saw this hanging on a guy's shirt.

Of course I had to ask for one! Hehe.

And of course I had to take a picture with this too!

I went for the Never Say Never movie premier last Saturday at Pavilion with Adrian, my sister and her boyfriend. She got us the tickets. I just think that the movie is a must watch. But I guess for anti-Bieber fans, they will hate Bieber no matter what. Sigh.

He can't sing? Hell yeah he can. Why would LA Reids sign him then? Thought of that huh?

He looks like a faggot? Oh yeah? Why are there tens of thousands of girls crazy for him? Even ladies ok.

Rainy Day

Set my alarm to 7am today because I needed to babysit. There were thunders and the sky was so gloomy. I didn't wanna get up. It's like the bed was pulling me back when I wanted to get up. I love sleeping in on gloomy mornings when it's raining. Work calls, I had to get up.

Drove through the storm all the way to Subang. It was freezing in the car. I had to turn the AC on anyhow. Funny thing about me, I get cold so easily, my palms get cold and up to a point I could actually shiver. I have a lot of cardigans and hoodies for a reason. Despite all that, I love it when i'm somewhere cold. Definitely beats being somewhere hot with the scorching sun staring at me. I could even feel blinded by the sun when I don't have my RayBans with me.

Babysitting and running the blogshop isn't my only part-time job for now. I've just started helping my sister to bake dog biscuits and cakes. To sell, that is. Definitely beats having a proper part-time job in a boutique. I used boutique as an example because I initially wanted to get a job in Topshop or Cats Whiskers. I have so much of free time. Yet the money I get is probably the same. For the amount of hours I'm working. So, send me an order and i'll bake them for you! Simple ones i'm making now are Milk Biscuits, Liver Cake and Apple Bran Muffins.

Biscuits and Muffins are RM20 and RM21 respectively. The cake would cost RM40.

This year's celebration is very different. I used to have BBQ parties. There was a year I organized 2 BBQ parties in a year. One of it was for Merdeka. -_-

So this year, my 3rd sister wanted to club so badly because she hasn't been clubbing in damn long. In conjunction with my birthday, she got to.

Of course all my sisters had to be present!

And the sister who's getting married end of this year! Far left one that is.

In case you don't know, my birthday falls on the 6th of March.

Which I had a birthday lunch with my family on Sunday at Aoyama. Japanese my favourite cuisine! But I'm weird, I don't eat Salmon. The only raw thing I eat is Jelly Fish!! :D

Whey Lu gave this to me for my birthday. Gonna go at a scorpion hook to it so I can add it onto my Thomas Sabo charm pendant! Then I'll just need another charm to complete the necklace. :D

It was his first time meeting my whole family together. It was good. :)

They're always WhatsApp-ing each other :( They even sneaked out twice before my birthday to go buy my birthday present!

He spent the entire day with me and my sisters. <3

From Aoyama to my place to play Mahjong. Then headed out to Starbucks to yumcha and play Monopoly Deal. Went home and the eldest sister had a sudden urge to Karaoke. We headed to 'Loud Speaker Karaoke' in Kota Damansara then.

Which by the way, that place is pretty awesome. Good service and cheap. RM28 is the most expensive rate I think. And you get 2 drinks and a meal. AND 3 hours of singing!

I used to spend my birthdays with friends. But this year I spent it with my sisters. The whole day. It was really good. :)

Sudden Shopping Trip

My hair is 3/4 brown and 1/4 dark brown now. It looks hideous. Especially in flashed pictures.

I hope this colour won't be as light as my Marshmallow Brown. Shouldn't have washed my hair this morning, then I can do it now. Or maybe I'll just wash my hair twice today. But the damageee. It's bad enough that I blow dry my hair almost everyday. Well, only when I'm going out to see people. Haha!

And I've been addicted to this card game lately. Sister had a deck unopened in her room, I took it. But then now she's carrying it in her handbag everywhere she goes. :( So I had to get my own deck. It's going wherever I go!

Damn right it's addictive!

Still sealed. Can't bring myself to open it yet. Hehe!

As I was gonna pay at the counter, I spotted a box full of these. I just had to get it. :D

A Friendship That Never Ends

Actually, that's what my sister calls it. Haha!

So this week I had 2 babysitting sessions already. I already thought of what to do the whole time there - read a book. I didn't. I brought my laptop instead, to watch movies and shows. Damn unproductive, I know.

I babysit from 9am to 1.30pm. I couldn't possible read that long. I'd fall asleep, seriously. I can only read for an hour tops. Plus, the house is so quiet. I could even fall asleep while watching my shows. Especially when I lie down. Yes, at a point I couldn't stand it, I just wanted to lie down and relax. Haha!

All I have to do is just do my own things because the mother doesn't wanna leave the son home alone. He's 9, I think. Sometimes he stays up late and ends up not going to school the next day. And he just sleeps the whole morning. I didn't even see him at all on the second day!

I basically get paid RM50 for nothing. :D Okay lah, make a part of that money go to petrol and toll. This job is in Subang. -_-

And the mother is a lecturer in INTI in the Curtin programme!

Good thing about this job is that I feel comfortable in her house. It's so clean and the air-con is always on. Or maybe she turned it on for me. :D Then I have a peanut butter sandwich at 10am. HAHA!

So this is my part-time job while I wait for my offers. It's either they come in rejecting me or accepting me. I am actually hoping that I cannot go, somehow. Sigh, now that my mum is letting me go, I don't really wanna go anymore. Will have to see what kind of offers I get in the next two months! So worried. :(

Nothing much going on in my life. So I've decided to blog about my brownies! :D

Super Fudge Brownies

Cook the chocolate and butter first.

While waiting for the chocolate and butter, mix the eggs, sugar and vanilla essence together.

I only use whisk. There's no need for an electric mixer.

Add in sifted flour and cocoa powder and mix.

Lastly, add in the cooked chocolate and butter and mix till combined.

Pour it into a baking tray and pop it in the oven and...

Voila!

Now I feel like baking it again. It's super easy and delicious.

Tip : Do not over mix it or else the brownies will be hard!

Adrian Chen brought me to this chinese restaurant in Solaris Dutamas called China Wok. They serve mainly Chicken Rice which also comes with roasted port and Char Siew. I usually order the Roasted Chicken with Roast Pork rice. :D

Prices are, well, RM5-RM10. Definitely can't compare it to coffee shops/hawker stalls!

But recently i'm more into the noodles there. Great, now i'm craving for it.

Sadly they don't open at night. :(

I get to choose where to have dinner that night. I wanted Japanese but Adrian Chen was too sick of Japanese food. No way we're having chinese. CNY is so full of chinese food. I had enough. So it's down to western. I wanted both Chili's and Delicious. I chose Delicious in the end because I was craving for their Carbonara.

I can never finish a plate of that on my own.

Food took so long to come :(

I'm still sick of it, after eating it that night. Hahaha.

I forgot what this is called. Chilli Fries, something like that. It's super good, especially when the cheese is still melty. :D

I regretted choosing Delicious. Chili's would have been so much more satisfying. Chicken crispers... Shit, now i'm craving for it.

CNY Day 8

I think it's my first time I got to experience Pai Tin Kong this year. I was partially a lamp post to my 3rd sister and her boyfriend. :D I followed them to their friend's house in Bangsar to gamble, and had hopes of collecting more ang pau! Hehehe.

Super cute cupcakes!! I wanted one so badly :( I've been seeing so many cute cupcakes lately. I think they're calling out to me..

We used poker chips to play blackjack, kinda nicer that way.

I succeeded by the way. RM60. It was worth it.

At 11pm, we left to Klang as the boyfriend's grandmother lives in Klang. It's apparently a Hokkien town or something. Seriously, most houses in that neighbourhood were either burning money, letting go those wishing-lanterns or burning fireworks/crackers! It was very meriah. The fireworks were crazy, one after another. Even better, 2-3 at the same time!

LOL some say burning fireworks is burning money. But that's pretty true, fireworks costs thousands and it only lasts 5 minutes max.

So we just stood outside watching the fireworks and counting how many lanterns are there in the sky. :D For a whole hour!

Somehow using a S90 to take fireworks shots are rather hard. These two are the best already.

CNY is over. 15 days just passed like *snap*! Gonna miss the gambling, only because I didn't even get to gamble much! :( Didn't really go collect ang paus this year alsooo.

I think i'm officially on holidays for around 7 more months? I need to find a job and a mandarin class. PRONTO! or else the mother will @#$%& me. But I can't think of a job I really wanna do. Maybe I should really consider Starbucks. I'm fine with cashier if they don't wanna let me be a baristaaa. :D

Universal Studios

2nd day in Singapore was spent in Universal Studios! Mum got us free tickets, which helped us save a whole lot of money! It opens at 10am but we got up at 10am. Hahaha, so we got in at about 11.30am. It isn't that big that you need one entire day. That's if you skip all the baby rides. Hahaha.

This is the BEST roller coaster i've ever been on in my life.

The red track is different from the blue. Only the blue one goes 360 degrees and the tracks are above whereas the red one is normal.

Another cool thing is, both starts off at the same time!

And there's 4 seats in a row oneee.

There's like a bunch of all these cool hats that are for sale but everyone just takes pictures with them only.

This was the funniest part of the day, and the happiest :')

Bought these cookies, and they are surprisingly good! Unlike Disneyland cookies. They suck! Only the packaging is good.

And we were exhausted and done.

Time for dinner!!

Had seafood at a restaurant that's practically outside of Universal Studios! Thank god...

The seafood were so fresh and good. It was worth it!

Legs were super tired, didn't bother watching the Crane Dance, which I kinda regret. But apparently it's nothing much. But stilll.

I never fail to have fun in Singapore! :D

The next day was pure shopping! Dim sum for brunch of course. Spent like 3 hours in Tangs shopping for household stuff and shoes. A girl can never have too many pairs of shoes.

And i'm so happy I got the pair of oxford flats that I was gonna buy online at first. From New Look, through a UK online spree. I decided not to buy it online because I thought of going to Singapore to see if they have it there or not. Last 2 pairs and one of it in my size! On sale too! :D

So, i'm pretty happy with my haul for this trip, tho not as expected. I wanted to go to Bugis as well, but no time :(

It's not the first time that my family travels during CNY. We stopped travelling for a few years. But there's the good and bad in travelling during CNY.

Good - I won't be so bored here in KL because, like I said, my CNY is super boring.

Bad - Miss out on a few open houses which also means gambling sessions and ang paus to be collected!

Hehe.

So this year, I went to Singapore, yet again! I went to Singapore twice last year and once the year before. :D Stayed in Resorts World, Sentosa, again.

Drove down in 2 cars. I followed my 3rd sister and her boyfriend.

The R&R in Pagoh. I was surprised there were so many people there. Thought it'd be empty. But then again, it was a long weekend.

Reached! This is the part where you have to pay to enter Sentosa, but we didn't have to because we've got rooms booked plus the confirmation letter. I don't know..

We stayed in Festive Hotel this time. We usually stayed in Hotel Michael. But it was a bad decision! Beds were single, not super single. No door bell. No full length mirror :( That's all HEHE. Good thing about it was that every room had a couch that can also be a bed. Still can fit all of us lah.

By the time we checked in, went to our rooms, rest for a while, while waiting for the mother to try to change our rooms to Hotel Michael (all hotels in Resorts World were full except for the most expensive, Hard Rock Hotel), it was already 5 something. Time for dinner!

So, we decided to go to Vivo City which was only a train stop away. But the Sentosa Express was so packed, we decided to take the Boardwalk. I think it's new, or we just didn't bother/know about it the last time we went. :b It's actually a damn long walk, but there're views to take your mind off the long walk. :)

I'd feel so insecure if I know I got VPL. I MUST check before I leave the house.

Reached Vivo City, finally, the Chinese Restaurant there was also full. *smacks forehead*

We settled on a german restaurant - Brotzeit Bier Bar and Restaurant.

The hams were DELISH!

So was the pizza..

We also had pork knuckle and sausages. Mannn the sausages were so good. I love good sausages :)

There's this restaurant in Mid Valley and Sunway Pyramid too! Wonder if the quality is the same. But it's pretty damn pricey. $300+. Well dollar to dollar for food, it's okay.

The rabbits and the logo are made out of flowers! They even had the 12 animals made out of colourful flowers. So pretty. :D

And so that was the 1st day there. Slept at 11+ so that we won't be too tired for the next day for Universal Studios! Stick around for that post.

I recently bought a top online, last month actually, but it's from Australia so that's why it takes longer. A very reliable and trustworthy Australian Spree blogshop run by a Malaysian! Ollie Ozzie is the name. She even texted me to ask if I wanted another colour for the top I ordered because it ran out of stock. I've already purchased from her twice. :D

She's got some pretty cool name sticker maker! I don't wanna peel it off. All the more reason MY PROPERTY. HAHA.

I honestly love other countries' fashion better than Malaysia's. That's why I love shopping in Singapore. More trendy than here fo' sho! Fyi, it's SOO damn hard to find a pair of decent oxford flats here and I finally got a pair in Singapore. Malaysia just doesn't get trendy enough for me.

Woke up pretty late unlike the past years, at 10am. I usually wake up at 8am. This year is different... Things are different already. Headed over to the grandmother's in TTDI and had the usual vegetarian lunch. But we don't go vegetarian the whole day :D How to resist the long yuk?!

My favourite time of the year has finally come! CNY is my favourite because I get to buy new clothes/shoes/bags/wtv and of course the ang paus. Then there's all the chinese cookies. Mmm I just love CNY! :)

I don't know if you call this superstitious or what, but I must know what is my lucky colour for the year and wear it on CNY Day 1. I don't wear new pants or shoes on during CNY as well. You know, the chinese word for pants and shoes. My mum and sisters laugh at me for being like this. But I just can't help it.

My mum found that rabbit soft toy somewhere in the house, what a coincidence!

Baby is now staying at the groomers, or actually I don't even know if the dogs stay there or what. We can only collect him on the 8th. :( I miss him so so much already. He could totally tell that the car ride was rather long (to Bangsar) and he couldn't stop crying. So sadd.

Random, hehe. Bought them yesterday at Pavilion. Super cheap and the size is perfectly right for me to clip half my hair. :D RM15 for 8 clips.

New pair of flip flops! No more buying Roxy or whatever brands because only Havaianas flip flops last longer and they're just so damn comfy. Obviously cannot compare to a pair of Fit Flops. I want to own a pair! :( But so pricey.

I actually bought them so that we could get free 2 hours parking which equals to RM6 only. :b We needed to spend RM200 in a single receipt, and even if Kim bought 2 pairs, still not enough. But I love my white ones as I look at them more! :D It's called Slim Jelly. The silver and black were out of stock, sadly.

I've been wanting to buy a 50mm lens for my DSLR since early last year, I think. But I've been delaying it because I just couldn't fork out RM300 just to buy lens.

Finally, I am ready to pay RM300 and get the cheapest lens! I think this is the only lens i'll ever buy anyways :b I don't need the rest of the lens since i'm such an amateur DSLR user. Hehe.

And I was actually supposed to buy it last week, but things came up. Delayed yet again. Today, I went to BB Plaza to get it! I found a seller on Low Yat Forum selling it at RM299. But it slipped my mind to write his address down. So I just randomly walked into the first camera shop I saw, asked the price, asked questions and paid.

It also slipped my mind that I have to buy a UV lens protector for it... *smacks forehead* I'm not ready to fork out RM60 for it. HAHA. Maybe after CNY.

Failed Laser Tag

Tuesday night, the guys planned to go for Laser Tag in Mid Valley at 10pm. But it was closed already. We sat outside Galactic Laser thinking where to go. It took us so damn long. Kim and I just started taking pictures of ourselves. Hahaha. She downloaded some cool iPhone photography apps. Really cool.

We just couldn't stop. Even just now... I'll get to that another time. :D

It was a bad idea to wear such bright tops to play Laser Tag. Thank god we didn't play that night. So easy to spot us right.

Pedicure

Went for my pedicure on the 16th. Finally got my nails cut shorter. Phew!

While the lady was scrubbing my feet with some feet scrub, I wanted to start laughing out loud already. It was SO ticklish. Especially when she was rubbing feet underneath? Soles is it? I dunno!

I was so ready to snatch me feet away from her. But I resisted. Hehe.

Before : Made it brighter so you can't see how ugly my toe nails were.

After : Voila! Clean and short toe nails.

I never liked neutral or light colours for my nails. Either dark brown or purple most of the time.

Now thinking what colour to do for my fingernails this weekend. A lot of manicure parlors are fully booked! :( So, i'm only gonna get them painted, not manicured.

I'm thinking a lighter shade of purple? Hehe.

Sister just came back from Bangkok and this is Baby's souvenir.

She loves pigs, so Baby has got to wear a piggy outfit.

The face is a zipped pocket. Imagine we bring him out, we can store some snacks in there for him.

I just randomly clicked on my YouTube bookmarked link and listened to Pray by Justin Bieber (My favourite song by him!). Then on the Suggestions list, I see covers.

I thought, "Let's see what these girls can do with his song.".

My god! I fell in love with her voice in her first cover I watched already. (Which was Pray).

I guess she's my type. Hahaha. Her voice. Teenage pop kind. Ahh, I dunno.

This is my favourite song of hers.

Second favourite song. I actually didn't know about this song by Taio Cruz until I heard it through her!

Then I found a Question and Answer video she did, found out more about her! Only 17 years of age, 18 this year. She actually lives in Texas and flies to LA to record some of her covers I think. She's also a songwriter. I hope she becomes a popstar! Hehe.

A lot of commentors being haters as usual, saying her voice is modified. She gets the privilege of recording her covers in a proper studio man. Unlike other people who uses their webcam or camera. Gotta give her the thumbs up for that. I think she's a pretty rich kid lah. Able to fly just to record her music.

She also performs.

Someone asked if she was on tour/gonna do a tour, she said no plans made. BUT she definitely wants to have a tour and travel the world.

I honestly think she gonna make it big in LA yooo.

Can't wait to hear her own songs that she wrote herself.

Managed to get my 4th sister to get free tickets for me.

Here's the truth about me : I don't buy concert tickets. I find it a waste of a couple of hundred bucks. The only 'concert' I paid for was David Archuleta. The things I do for my BFF (Kimbo). Hahaha, okay lah I also wanted to watch him perform so half because of that and half because of the BFF. :D And it was only RM39 I think hehe. Buying his album was the ticket into the concert.

All the other concerts I've been too -- free.

But i'm dying to go for Justin Bieber's! I hope my 3rd sister can get me free tickets. Hahahahahaha. I'm a sucker like that alright!

It kinda annoys me that i see a Trending Topic JUSTINA BIEBER. What the fuck are these people's problem? Can't handle the truth that he's so young and famous and making so much money already? DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR LIFE THEN. Ughhh.

Yes, I'm a fan of Justin Bieber, big time! I should buy his album soon. My birthday coming in 1 and a half months time... :D

Anyways, back to the topic. The concert was on the 13th January. I only got 2 tickets so it was just me and Kimbo. I wouldn't say the crowd was massive, but definitely damn supportive Kpop fans out there. Even when they're just playing the 3 artist/groups' MV's on the screen, people cheer like fuck.

The 3 are -- G.na, 4 Minute and Beast.

She's a super hardcore Kpop fan! She was filling me in with all the Kpop info's. That light - white - represents Beast.

Huge yellow balls everyone was pushing around. Looked damn fun, but it never reached us. Hahaha.

We were supposed to be on the right side, but dunno why they closed that entrance and we had to go the left.

I didn't wanna go at first, because I'm not a Kpop fan/person. I wanted to get it for Kim and maybe Jia Wen. But Jia Wen was in Penang so I went with Kim. She assured me it will be damn fun and it was indeed nice to watch them perform.

I couldn't stop staring at 4 minute's legs and butts. :/

Farewell #4

More people leaving this year! First one is Soorah Hassan. She's going to the states to study Forensic Science. Cool huh? She's actually leaving tonight but I can't make it to send her off at the airport. Got another farewell dinner to attend. See, like I said more people leaving ME.

So, her farewell was on Friday, 14th January.

Went to Sid's Bar at Plaza Damansara first with Kimbo, Kei, Kok, Saveen and Ganesh. It was raining and a weekday. So it was a better choice to go later to avoid the jam. It was also a BBQ party. Better to wait for the rain to subside lah right. Got there and it was still drizzling. Damn rain these days.

Bought this cupcake at the Mont' Kiara bazaar on Thursday night but left it in Kimbo's car.

It's not even icing, freaking cream. RM2 so not worth the money ok! Damn small only. Do an OK sign with your fingers and thats the size of it!

I felt the sudden urge to snap pictures. So I brought my camera out with me today! I don't bring my camera out anymore unless its a special occasion :D

I had lunch at Pokemon, Sri Sinar. I guess most people who stays in Kepong would know about this restaurant. Famous for their noodles.

Yee Mee soup. It just tastes extra ordinary! It is really the best yee mee soup i've ever tasted! I added egg for mine. :D The chilli sauce is also super nice!

I think the chilli sauce is like the pan mee one in Lucky Garden. Sour-ish.

After lunch I was actually still hungry. Actually, i'm STILL hungry now. My appetite has suddenly expanded.

Had no strength to hold my camera today. That's why cannot see our face. Hahaha..

Sister's 30th

3rd, 4th, 5th, 1st, 2nd

4th of January was my sister's birthday. We celebrated it at Tom, Dick & Harry @ TTDI. It's a pub. It was only the 5 of us sisters, parents were not invited. Hahaha. And the food there is REALLY good. They have by far the best chicken chop i've ever tasted! I recommend this place to everyone! :D They're open for breakfast as well, which I would love to try it one day.

It's non-halal.

Basically we just talked about her wedding, what to do and what not. Most importantly what we were gonna wear as her bridesmaids. :D And also, a trip for her hens party. Planning to go to Bangkok, but I doubt it'll work out. Though I really wanna go to Bangkok this year to get stocks for the blogshop. It's not that nice when your stocks and other blogshop stocks clash. Then there comes the comparison. Oh the horror~

Sucks when we update that particular item first! Then no one will buy from us if we're more expensive. Oh well, that's how business is anyways.

I get side-tracked so easily. I'm not even blogging about the birthday anymore :b

I'm super excited for CNY, although there's like no excitement in the atmosphere this year like no festival mood. :/

Dad's 59th

3rd of January was my dad's birthday. We celebrated it a day before because everyone won't be able to come home early for dinner on a Monday. We had seafood! I love crabs. No pictures of dinner because we were all too hungry and indulged.

We always buy our parents a birthday cake from San Terri because the cakes there are less sweet as compared to other bakeries.

And that bottle is Rose Wine or something. She bought it only because it has something to do with PIG. She bought it from Singapore last year or the year before. We just only opened it. It's not drinkable anymore, obviously.

NYE 2010

I had the best NYE in my 19 years. Got drunk for the first time. Didn't drink Absinthe for the first time tho, and i'm thankful! Hahaha. There were a lot of firsts that night :D What happened in that suite, stays in that suite! Right, Kim?

Kim, Adrian, Sharida, Gan and I headed down to Pavilion for dinner at around 7pm (Food Republic food rocks, same goes for the one in Singapore!). Roads were super clear. We thought we were already late and the jam already started. We were wrong.

Stayed in Pavilion till 10.45pm. Again we were wrong, cops were already closing up some major roads where the street parties will be at. GPS was super useless at that time already.

I really thought we won't be on time for the countdown to 2011! :(

Adrian sped so fast that he almost ran someone down, he was in a shock watching that dude run across the road, he couldn't hon. Gan immediately horned the shit outta him and he stopped right at the white dotted line. It was horror. The image of him being knocked and rolling to the back of the car kept flashing in my mind. :S

Anyways, I thought we'd be like HIMYM when they couldn't make it to Party #4? They had to countdown in the jam they were stuck in. :D

Nah, we reached at 11.30pm around there.

We made it by parking in Times Square, then taking the monorail from Imbi to Bukit Bintang and walked to Park Royal Serviced Suites.

I was sleeping on Adrian's lap and thought he was holding a plastic bag already. So I turned and grabbed his hand thinking I was puking into the bag, NO. I puked on his beloved jeans and hand and the carpet. Hehehe.

That made him puke after that. HAHAHA.

They said there was Char Kuey Teow (Dinner), QQ Jelly (Drink) and Corn(Desser) in my puke. I could taste my drink only, and jelly bits on my lips :b

It was one hell of a night! A night to remember! :)

Once i'm on holiday, I have nothing to blog about.

So anyways, Yi Wenn just came back from Melbourne! So we went out for Tutti Frutti. Just me, her and Kim. We spent a few hours there just catching up. It was good. It FELT good. :)

I finally went to Mont' Kiara's bazaar just now. For SO MANY weeks, I've been telling Adrian that I wanted to go after his gyming session, but in the end i'm just too freaking lazy. Today we finally went :D

Bought this tee there for RM20. Buy 2 for RM35 only. The others weren't cute enough, so I bought one only :D

Christmas eve tomorrow and I have no where to go. That's how sad my life is now. New Year's will be worst! :( Maybe just go stand at Solaris Dutamas (somewhere I know) to see fireworks :B

I came to know about this Korean celebrity from Boys Over Flowers, the show that is the same as Meteor Garden. In my opinion, the Korean F4 looks way more goodlooking!

The store itself was pretty packed.

He's now the face of The Face Shop! He came to KL on the 4th and my sister & I went to Pavilion just to see him. We were in Bukit Bintang since 3pm already, but we didn't wanna wait there in the crowd. So we walked around till 4 something and remembered about him :D

It was way too packed already by that time, so we went through Esprit's entrance to 'outside' of Pavilion where he was. We went just in time before the guards decided to lock that door. A mother was there, looking so clueless holding tightly onto her handbag looking around (LOL).

Don't know what they were trying to take. Even from where we were standing, we could barely take a decent photo of him. What more inside, with a glass blocking? :b

Okay so here are the pictures of the REAL him.

He said that he doesn't use make up and he also doesn't use that many facial products. He did try the new products that he launched - the mask to be exact. Hahaha. They're only starting to sell the products next month I think.

He also said he loves our Malaysian weather.

The lucky girls who bought RM300 or more at The Face Shop and got the chance to be the lucky 10 to take a picture with him.

Once he started the autograph session, we left the place. It was getting stuffy and couldn't see him already since he sat down. Speaker blocked our view :(

Left Pavilion and went to yum cha at Pappa Rich, Bangsar just because I wanted to go to Czip Lee :D

I was bored - sister and Edmund were busy playing with their iPhones. I have no iPhone to play with so I play with my DSLR lor!

The Very Last Class

This is Nazrin, Naj's cousin. Damn funny guy. :)

Hehe we totally failed at jumping + crossing our legs.

And I was still trying while Naj's shoe flew away.

He had a presentation so that's why he's dressed formally, except those are are skinny jeans. Hahaha.

I just wanted a picture with the cousin, for memories. And he brought us to some road in Damasara Heights and we just put the camera on self timer PLUS CONTINUOUS. I have loads of pictures of us doing funny things. I laugh everytime I look through them again. :')

So that's the end of my uni post. Year 1 is done. Well not that official yet, I still have 3 papers to sit for finals this friday and next week. Wish me luck, readers! :D

The Last Lecture & Tutorial

Thursday was the last Business Law class, which is also sort of the last class for the year. We had another extra Econ's class the next day. So, I thought I should bring my camera since I don't have a 'UNI ALBUM'. Well now I finally have proper pictures with some of my classmates. I definitely won't be taking pictures with the other 'some' classmates. Classified as the BITCHES.

This is the famous Rotiman bakery just outside Wisma HELP. This is taken at 11am, the time when their freshly baked stocks come in. Therefore, the best day to go to Rotiman is Thursdays.

I failed at taking jump shots, I dunno why.

We take buses everyday, well almost. That's her favourite bus driver. I think my favourite one quit already. There's a young indian dude who's probably in his early 20's driving us now. He's got the coolest bus too.

My one and only uni friend, Najwa. :')

Lunch break and she parked at Wisma, so we went out for lunch instead of the boring Pusat Bandar Damansara. It's always either Subway, Mcd's or Ali Maju.

I've recently got the online shopping bug. I have this urge to buy stuff online, but clothing is one thing I BARELY get the chance to buy. Those I like are always sold out. Good taste BUT common taste. Hehehe.

I came across cute stationeries. Something I can definitely get to buy. I actually quite like this blogshop -- Elen Creative. Her stuff are really cheap. Unique stationeries she has. Not proper ones you need for exams lah, its those quirky cute funny type.

Comes with matching paper clip and packed into a nice brand new box.

Makes me wanna buy from them even more. I love collecting unnecessary things.

There's also peach, green apple and grapefruit. I thought the fruit could open like 3D one whole apple, but no, only half. Not enough paper :b

Fiona's Birthday

Finally satisfied with my layout now. It's cute + vintage. Somehow it's vintage to me. :b

Met up with the college girls on Friday night for Fiona's birthday the day before and also to get together and gossip. Girls do what girls do best! Instead of the usual restaurants in shopping malls, we had chinese food this time. The typical order a few dishes and we eat them with rice :) Cheaper to eat like this also! We had our dinner at Sai Kong just outside the twins neighborhood in Kepong.

I said 7.30pm and everyone only reached at 8.30pm. Malaysians will ALWAYS be this way. Well, of course, it not we wouldn't be Malaysians :b

My love for my doggy is never ending ♥ I pamper him by giving him snacks and putting him on my bed because he loves being cozy. Sometimes I really wanna squeeze him so bad, but he'd bite the crap out of me. He has already bitten me 3 times, only counting the times where serious damage was done on me. Sometimes he goes psycho :( But I'd still treat him damn nice after that. Other owners would have probably given him away :b

Okk, back to my Business Law assignment. I have short attention span. I get distracted too easily.

Don't know what happened to the quality of this picture. :b It was blur, so I sharpened it.

I finally sent Baby to the groomers yesterday. Couldn't stand his fur being so long. Takes longer for me to dry him after his shower also. Don't really like the way the groomer cut his fur this time. It looks funny in a way.

My horizontal picture is so small now :( Need to find a solution ASAP! I love these 'cigerette biscuits' (direct translation from cantonese), especially if they're burnt more! Super yummy.

A birthday present I got few years back.

Just a few days ago, I realized that my pictures were gone. I had to delete some of my pictures off Flikr because I can only upload a limited amount, unless I pay for the Pro then I can upload unlimited amount of pictures. -___- So, now I don't know which website to use. I can use Imageshack for vertical pictures, since they have the dimensions I want. Yes, I must have different sizes for my horizontal and vertical photos.

Uni Life

Final's timetable is out. 3 papers to take on the 10th, 14th and 15th of December. LESS THAN A MONTH left. :S

First I have to rush my Business Law assignment that is due on the 6th which I obviously can't wait till then to only do it. But I'm in the midst of doing my revision for Cost & Management Accounting already. :))

Life

Time really passed by so fast this year. So soon, I'm gonna be done with Year 1 of Uni. Then I'll have 2 years left of being a student only! :( Yes, at times I might hate being a student, but really, the thought of entering the workforce and working late hours (accountants tend to work late!). My sister barely had the time for her social life. What will happen to me?! Tho' I'm quite positive that I won't choose what she's doing, Audit. Super tiring and always working till late and sometimes weekends. :/

Less thoughts about the future, and more to focus on the present! Need the will and power to study hardcoreee!
